What to Expect:

You’ll arrive at our quaint soap studio/storefront in Clinton on South Whidbey Island. This class is a hands-on workshop! Each participant will make their own custom 42 oz loaf of soap. After going over the basic science of soap making, we’ll guide you through the soap making process. This incudes choosing your own base oils/botanicals/fragrances and essential oils to meet your skincare needs.

This is a basic soap making class. You’ll be given an abundance of freedom/choices to customize your soap ingredients but we won’t focus on advanced decorative techniques like building soap tops. Choose from leaving the soap in it’s beautiful natural state, adding a colorful swirl, and/or adding finishing herbs to the top.

Your Teacher is Molly Jacobson. Molly has been making soap since 1990 and is excited to answer all of your soap questions while guiding you through the process.
